On Saturday,  we had a day at the soccer fields for some TLC. With lots of help from many families, we were able to stain the 16 benches surrounding the fields, paint the Div 1 and 4 goal. All 5 bleachers have been moved so there is a set for each field. About 4 yards of dirt has been spread over the Div 1 and 2 fields and a need for much more to level off the land between all the fields and the Div 3 and 4 fields. We believe to have a supply for that later this summer.

 

 The next time you are at the fields, please take the time to look around and see the hard work put into making this facility even better than what it is.  It was also great to see all the kids working hard staining the benches (with supervision of course).  Their hard work will go along way into shaping the future of Grosse Ile soccer.
